We sell three types of framing online.
POSTER FRAMING | STANDARD | ARCHIVAL

Some artworks are sold as is with the framing shown.

Poster frames display the print without a mat. Poster frames are used with inexpensive prints. We dry mount all posters with our SEALTM heat and vacuum dry mounting press on 3/16" foam core so your prints are always flat and look good (no bubbles or waves from humidity). Poster frames are available with oak or black metal frames. Plexi-glass (clear heavy plastic sheeting) is used for glass so they are easy and safe to ship. We keep a layer of protecting plastic wrap on the plexiglass, that you remove. Your plexi-glass arrives scratch free.

Standard Framing

Standard framing is very nice. We hand cut quality paper mats with a black core. Standard framing includes matting, and we heat/vacuum dry mount with one-step foam board. Frame and assembly with standard thickness glass is included. You can choose metal gallery frames in either shiny or flat black, shiny or frosted silver, shiny or frosted gold frames, or contrast gray. You can also choose wood in light or dark oak finish.

Double matting in complimentary color matting is avaiable (extra charge)

Archival

Our framing procedures guarantee that all materials that come in contact with the artwork; mat board, mounting board, etc, are completely acid free. It is designed to minimize the deterioration of the artwork caused by exposure to the environment and acid fumes. We use acid free 100% rag mats, acid free mounting tissues and acid free foam core boards. Standard glass is used (non-glare glass available by special order (call or email).
