Crede
Calhoun Photographer
Artist Statement
"My photography seeks to connect the viewer with the subtle
beauty of nature and the unique personality of the subject. I look to capture scenes that often lie at your
feet and go un-noticed.I capture and present the beauty that already exists as opposed
to the creation of something new or contrived. Revealing the essence of a moment
in nature is fulfilling fun, and helps me share my deep commitment
to respecting and sharng its awe inspiring sacredness. It is my hope that my photographs
can bring peace to the environments that they are displayed and
that viewers will find relaxation in their presence. I hope others
can see the beauty that lies in an acorn and leaf and I truly believe everyone is an artist. "
